Restaurant M'11 - Monze

Just 15 minutes from Carcassonne, close to the Corbières,

M'11 housed in the old cellar aging of the wine cooperative of Monze.

A warm environment conducive to culinary events.
Restaurant M'11 - Monze
The cellars Rocbère Corbières Maritimes which merged with the Cave of Monze, have released this building which will also showcase their productions.

After the discovery of their treasures, you enter the large room's rustic restaurant with a unique view of the vineyard.

A large fireplace for grilling throne in the background.
The restaurant is located at the gates of the Corbières (14 km from Carcassonne) in place of the old village distillery. It is with views of the vineyards from the terrace or in the beautifully restored room with fireplace that you will take place. The cuisine you will be served is traditional, the cooked products are quality and therefore the delicious dishes served. All of this is home-made, so the dishes offered follow the seasons.
Restaurant M'11 - Monze
Depending on the season, you will be offered hearty salads, salmon tartar, sprinkled mussels, couteaux knives without forgetting the inescapable cassoulet in duck confit (low season), and specialities such as friginat, Mi gras, semi-baked fat in Armagnac or milk pig on order. On the wine side you will be offered the range of wines from the wine Cellars Rocbère des Corbières. An address that neither skimping nor on the quality, nor the quantity, all at a very reasonable price with an impeccable welcome!

Corbières

A.O.P. Corbières

The Corbières is one of the wildest areas of France with one of the lowest population densities. It is picturesque with wine growing areas alternating with garigue and mountainous countryside. It is located mainly in the Aude département and partly in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. The River Aude borders the Corbières to the west and north. To the south is the River Agly and to the east the the Mediterranean Sea. The name Corbières comes from "cor" a pre-Celtic word meaning "rock" and "berre" from the River Berre which runs through Durban. The eastern part of the Corbières with its Etangs, borders the the Mediterranean Sea and is called the Corbières maritimes. It has its own distinctive climate and characteristic vegetation known as thermomediterranean vegetation...

La Maison Aïni

La Maison Aïni - Serviès-en-Val

Philippe Aïni, born in Bordeaux on June 22, 1952, father of three children, suddenly broke with his existence as a pastry worker at the age of 24, to devote himself to creation (mainly paintings and sculptures). Without artistic training, he will invent his art from top to bottom. For 8 years, alone in his studio, he paints fiercely, seeing very few artists and close friends; nevertheless, his work interests: certain art lovers ask him to exhibit it: Jean-Pierre Roche, in particular, director of the Émergences gallery in Bordeaux, who passionately loves his work, exhibits it on several occasions, thus contributing to the make known in the South-West. Likewise Guy Lafargue who runs the Art Cru gallery in Auch. Philippe Aïni, unusual creator, totally self-taught painter, free from any cultural influence, rejects any identification with an artistic current. His artistic career and his notoriety have led him to exhibit in most of the major international cultural scenes...

O2 Aventure - Carcassonne

O2 Aventure - Carcassonne

O2 - an adventure park created by hanging ropes between trees where you can climb, slide and swing, including a long 'slide' over part of the Lac de la Cavayère itself. At O2 in Carcassonne, metal ropes are strung between trees to create an adventure park / sports facility called Acro-branch. Trips begin with a brief training session and all climbers are equipped with a safety harness. You have 2 short ropes attached to your harness and at any one time at least one of the ropes should be attached to the security ropes that are in place in every part of the adventure park...

Les Poneys d’Adèle

Les Poneys d’Adèle - Labastide-en-Val

"Les Ponys d 'Adèle" was created in 2018 by Adéline Bougeant, following her desire to offer children an approach to horse riding focused on communication with horses, using methods that include gentleness, understanding and respect for the animal. Passionate about horses since childhood, Adèle first entered the equestrian world through training (acquisition of a Galop 7 level in an equestrian center, followed by obtaining the BAPAAT, ATE and BPJEPS diplomas necessary for its development), followed by professional experience as an animator of shows and children's groups in the Paris region, Equestrian animator in the south of France, Hiking guide in the Camargue and Corsica. In addition to this traditional experience, she also had the opportunity to practice reasoned, logical driving and see that understanding and respecting the animal was much more rewarding than harshness and allowed it to perform faster with very satisfying results...

Gorges
du Congoust

Gorges du Congoust - Montlaur

The meandering course of the stream of Mattes takes a spectacular parade of the mountains between Alaric and Hull: Gorges Congoust (named by the Romans co-angustum: constricted passage). The landscape is vegetation: very dry on the south side of Alaric, much of the wooded slope of the shell covered with thickets of evergreen oak. The course, framed by limestone cliffs and large boulders, is animated waterfalls and potholes, which punctuate and enliven the watercourse...

Sentier Le Tour de Rieux en Val

Sentier Le Tour de Rieux en Val - Rieux-en-Val

Rieux and Val lies at the foot of the Val de Dagne and belonged to the abbey of Lagrasse in the twelfth century. At that time the village was surrounded by fortifications with the two main guarded gates. The walls and gates were demolished in 1759. The bridge, Le pont de Rieux en Val, was built in the twelfth century and was intended for pedestrians, hence the steps and the narrow passage. The bridge was also the setting of the film released in 1961: "Le miracle des loups" with Jean Marais. In short Rieux-en-Val is certainly worth a visit, because of the old buildings you find yourself quickly back 1,000 years in time...
