A.O.P. CorbièresWe, craftsmen winemakers Dominic Xavier Mestre & Rémon originating in the Corbières: We have chosen to live our working winemakers. We define ourselves as artisans of wine as we cultivate our vineyards and make our wines with passion, rigor and creativity. By visiting us in our cellar, otherwise in shows, fairs and exhibitions in which we participate and of course in all restaurants, wine shops and other distributors who help us with their professionalism to distribute our wines. Visit them, they will talk to you and make you appreciate them. We get closer to the organic farming by the way we protect our vines. A maximum of prophylactic measures (plowing, trellising, épamprages, thinning, éfruitage, ...) and a good visual monitoring of our vineyards allows us to minimize plant protection. Viticulture 'rational' is fraught with administrative documents and is not necessarily synonymous with treatment limitation, it induces the written traceability. We define ourselves as winegrowers ''reasonable'' and invite you to share our wilderness away from industrial pollution...

A.O.P. CorbièresLovers of nature and authenticity, we chose to make you appreciate the nuances of our wines in a frame in our image. The Saint-Damien cellar, a place of perfume and colors where the wild orchids of Corbières marry the aromas of the wines of the Domaine. Our passion has taken root in the heart of the Corbières. The wines that we raise tenderly, generously benefit from the character of this region that we love so much. Our full-bodied reds have taken the taste of the scrubland, our whites and fruity rosés reflect the mischievousness of the south. Certifcation Reasoned Agriculture, Respect nature, HACCP. Production area (60 ha) AOP Corbières, Vin de pays Cathare, Vin de table. Come share the passion of the wines of Corbières and discover the richness of our terroir. You can visit: The winery, The cellar, To taste the different wines of our production, Walk around the vineyard with tasting scrubland on the trail of the orchids and the path of the planets...

Gorges
du Termenet

Gorges du Termenet - Termes

Between the La Buade mill and Termes, the road, constructed in 1903, passes through two tunnels in the Gorges du Termenet cut by the Sou. The steep walls of the Gorges consist of rocks of the middle and lower Devonian periods. In the centre a beautiful vein of red marble runs the height of the cliffs. The Gorges is in a protected area. South of Termes, upstream of the Saint Andrew chapel and still on the Sou, there is another protected natural site -the gorge of Coyne Pont. This also cuts through rock of the lower Devonian period. The middle section forms a bowl and in part of the river bed a jumble of travertine rocks indicates a collapsed natural bridge. (Coyne Pont means "the cave bridge" in Occitan)...

Hôtel Restaurant
La Fargo

Hôtel Restaurant La Fargo - St-Pierre-des-Champs

Halfway between Narbonne and Carcassonne near the village of St-Pierre-des-Champs and its château stands a beautiful, distinctive building nestled against the garrigue, surrounded by hills, gardens and orchards cradled by the Orbieu River and swaying to the pace of birdsong. In this haven of peace and greenery, the bright, personalised, spacious rooms with a contemporary South-East Asian-style décor, are an open invitation to a world of serenity. Indoors, in a décor of light stone walls, La Fargo features an extensive dining room with lounge, bar, fireplace and piano. The conformably-spaced round tables create a warm, relaxed atmosphere....

Abbaye
Sainte-Marie
de Lagrasse

Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Lagrasse

Lagrasse is known for its important Abbey, the Abbaye Sainte Marie de Lagrasse, which is accessed by an ancient and very attractive bridge. The keep or “donjon” is still in good condition, giving an interesting idea of the history of the place. The Church of St Michel is a good example of Gothic architecture in the region, and is worth a visit. Lagrasse also retains the ramparts from the old fortifications, all of which helps to preserve a sense of the original village...

Sentier
Le Gourg
de Talairan

Le Gourg de Talairan - Talairan

Talairan, fortified village. You can walk through the vineyards at the edge of the cliffs and the dried up river Nielle. You can also admire the clear waters of Gourg Goutonnier... Leave the village on the D323. You’ll walk past a basin (known as the “lavoir à pétales”, the petal washtub), extremely pleasant during the warm summer months. Take the chemin de la Croisette which will take you to the Notre-Dame-de-l’Ere chapel. Follow for about 600 m, before climbing the Buffanel on a small path to the left through the garrigue on the edge of the superb Gorges of the Nielle stream, twisting and turning 100 m below. Walk up along the gorges on a small ridge path, and continue alongside a fenced vineyard...

Campsite Boucocers Bachandres

Campsite Boucocers Bachandres - Lagrasse

This campsite is located on a hill overlooking the village with stunning views over the medieval town of Lagrasse, its abbey and the beautiful fertile Orbieu valley. Officially designated ‘One Of The Most Beautiful Villages In France’, Lagrasse nestles at the confluence of two valleys in the stunning Corbières wine region of the South of France. The village is linked to the 8th century Benedictine abbey to which it owed its original prosperity by two graceful bridges spanning the river...
