At the battlements bottom of the mediaval town, classified monument as mankind world heritage, it's an unique place in the historic center of Carcassonne.
On a piece of land which used to be invisible in the heart's center of the city,
La Table de
Franck Putelat is actually a "must be" address.
Under majestic centennial trees folages, Céline and Franck Putelat wanted to conceive a modern welcome, bathed in warm light.
La Table de
Franck Putelat is a welfare and relaxinxg island dedicates to gastronomy where it's pleasant to drop anchor for business rendez-vous or pleasure-meal...
In the heart of a lush green setting, at the foot of the ramparts of the medieval city, Franck Putelat has created a site of graphic elegance, a radiant showcase for his talents.
The restaurant, with its stylish contemporary design, contrasts with the ancestral stone of Carcassonne. Its sober warm atmosphere, inspired by the wisdom of ancient Japan, offers the perfect context to share the chef’s inventive dishes and the intense emotions they inspire. |

Franck Putelat drew his inspiration for work and his freedom of expression in his native Jura region in the east of France. After graduating with his culinary diploma, he learned his trade in a 1 Michelin star restaurant in Les Rousses, the Jura’s best known skiing resort. His determination and talent brought him the chance to work with great chefs, like Georges Blanc and Philippe Legendre, with whom he learned the classics of the repertoire. In 1998, he arrived in Carcassonne to take over La Barbacane restaurant. After earning a first Michelin star, he then won a Bocuse d’Argent at the 2003 edition of the prestigious world cooking event.
Franck Putelat has always thought big. He pursued his dream, eyes wide open, and opened seven elegantly designed rooms to allow his guests to continue the unique experience of the restaurant and its shared emotions.
Classic Fiction, Emotion, Action Reaction, Franck Putelat offers menus that are both inventive and delicious with a variety of choice and approaches in order to meet all your desires of the moment.

The Corbières is one of the wildest areas of France with one of the lowest population densities. It is picturesque with wine growing areas alternating with garigue and mountainous countryside. It is located mainly in the Aude département and partly in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. The River Aude borders the Corbières to the west and north. To the south is the River Agly and to the east the the Mediterranean Sea. The name Corbières comes from "cor" a pre-Celtic word meaning "rock" and "berre" from the River Berre which runs through Durban. The eastern part of the Corbières with its Etangs, borders the the Mediterranean Sea and is called the Corbières maritimes. It has its own distinctive climate and characteristic vegetation known as thermomediterranean vegetation...

The Minervois is one of the most ancient vineyards of the Mediterranean region. Indeed, its land was chosen by the Romans as providing ideal conditions for the first vines they planted in Languedoc Roussillon. Its name comes from the ancient city of Minerve, a stronghold built by the Romans and dedicated to the goddess Minerva. Since that time, many amphora shards and vestiges of cellars have been discovered, testimony to the importance of this vineyard. The region, austere in winter and redolent with sunshine in summer, has survived over the centuries its invasions by barbarians, Arabs and Christians. The essence of Minervois la Livinière, as in so many Midi appellations, is the blend; a marriage of different grape varieties that adds subtle nuance of flavour to the whole. Natural alcohol level must reach a minimum of 12% without enrichment (so no chaptalisation) and maximum yield is a modest 45 hl/ha. Ageing may be in barrel or vat, and unlike basic Minervois, the wine must be bottled at source, so cannot be sent off to a négociant elsewhere in France...

Les Chasses au Trésor: malediction, mysteries and magic cards...
Discover the region in a fun way and visit unusual or unmissable places thanks to a treasure hunt in the form of a box containing a magic card, mirror and / or other surprising clues. At the end of your adventure, a treasure awaits you... Be careful though: the treasure hunt makes you addicted! If you do one there is a good chance you will want to do more! We will have warned you... How it works ? It's very simple!
Buy a “treasure hunters” box in one of the points of sale (often the town's tourist office). One box is sufficient for a family of 3/4 people or for a group of friends. Once the box in hand, you are in total autonomy. Inside the box are all the necessary items to complete your adventure.
Our course last on average 1h30 but you are free to do it at your own pace. At the end of the adventure, remember to return to the tourist office (pay attention to the schedules) to collect your reward: the one, the real, the only treasure hunter badge to collect...
