Randonnée Minerve, La Cesse et le Brian
(D/A) Leave the car park on the west side and follow the D147E.

(1) Follow the D147E on the left, ignore the first road on the right and join the second starting point on the right. Enjoy the view of the natural bridges of the Gorges de la Cesse.

(2) Take the path on the right. Walk past the first field of vines to the right and come to the corner of the second. Go down left at the path in the maquis. Cross the small ford (often dry) and climb towards the pines. After the Mazet, turn right and go up the vine. Turn right at the top and go straight on along the large path. It crosses the Ruisseau de la Loubatière (troglodyte shelters) and joins a crossing.
  (3) Go left onto the path, the vineyards follow each other to the right. At the end, cross the D147 and take the road that climbs to the left. Ignore the first left and continue straight on the cement path that descends to the Gorges du Brian.

(4) In the hairpin bend you leave the road for the small path on the right. After the reservoir on the side and at the crossroads, take the path to the left. Pass the small ford, then go down the path to the pumping station and continue the path along the Brian (smooth plates). Cross the Daniel Bridge (watch out, parapet low!) And climb on the left bank to the right via the side path to the crossroads.

(5) Continue to the right on the steep path (be careful approaching the cliffs) and come to a ledge. The path turns left, goes left into the valley and ends up on the plateau. Continue through the undergrowth for about 200 meters, joining a wide path.

(6) Turn right, the track dominates the Gorges du Brian and the town of Minerve. After the catapult, go down the path to the right, cross the walkway and enter the city via the stairs. Take Grand-Rue on the right then Rue des Remparts. When leaving the village, after the tower (Candéla), climb up the road to reach the car park (D/A).
