La Petite Auberge - Tournissan
Eat your meal al fresco on one of our terraces during the summer months or by the fire side in the winter. Our menus vary according to the seasons. The restaurant is open 6 days a week for lunch and dinner all year around. (We are closed on Mondays).

And should you wish to linger on, you can stay in one of our 3 B&B rooms or 2 holiday flats where we can accommodate up to 18 people. You'll enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside, the swimming pool, air conditioning and heating in every room, WIFI throughout, plenty of parking space and a laundry room.
A modest yet ambitious new restaurant... Ambitious in its varied selection of traditional dishes, prepared by a small team using fresh ingredients, following the seasons. Modest are the prices ... A lot of attention goes to the wine list. We consider it a great privilege to be located in the Languedoc-Roussillon area with internationally recognized winemakers and lesser known one as well. We intend to spend many more years discovering them and sharing them with our customers. These, too, are at very reasonable prices. Our dining room can hold up to 50 people. The atmosphere is tranquil yet bright. La petite Auberge is a new construction intended to combine the clean lines of modern architecture with the volumes and traditions of years past. Two arches divide the space inside, reminiscent of ancient wine cellars. The same arched lines are repeated in all the windows and entrances. Our chairs are particularly comfortable and the colours on the walls are relaxing. Weather permitting our two outside terraces offer different views over the surrounding countryside. You can eat al fresco protected from the wind or the sun - or bask in it if you prefer! Here, too, the furniture is stylish and comfortable. In the coming months the garden will be taking shape: already the vines, olive trees and lavender have taken root!

Domaine de La Peyrouse - Durban-Corbières

A.O.P. CorbièresAt the heart of Cathar country, we exploit this area located on the land of Durban-Corbières. Surrounded by a rocky barrier rising to 600 meters, the vineyards of Durban-Corbières enjoys a micro climate, the very marked summer drought is offset by a long period very favorable to the maturation of the berries. Located in the hills, vines occupy a multitude of small plots, the know-how of the wine grower associated with these natural conditions allows us to produce high quality wines. The health status of the harvest is naturally good. However, vintners Domaine de La Peyrouse go further by practicing agriculture biologique, Certificated from harvest 2013. Harvest ranged from September to October depending on the grape varieties, terroirs and types of wines sought the grapes picked at optimum maturity are vinified traditionally, we have at heart to preserve our traditions, while using derrieres winemaking techniques, and with a total stalking and constant monitoring of fermentation temperatures maceration can be long and extract all the aromas and tannins varietal wines and elaborate, deep red, have a good tannic structure associated with the particular flavors of each grape will long aging and will honor your table...

Cellier des Demoiselles - St laurent de la Cabrerisse

A.O.P. CorbièresThe Cellier des Demoiselles was created in 1914, just before the First World War. The name is a tribute to the women of the village who, in the absence of their men, strove to preserve our wines and our Terroir. Today, the story continues with wines developed in their image: Fruit and Flowers for some, character and intensity for others, revealing all the elegance and distinctiveness of our Terroir. Saint Laurent de la Cabrerisse is ideally situated between Carcassonne, a famous medieval City, and Narbonne, that honors its cathedral and its beaches. Our village, due to it localization, deserves a double nickname of « Porte des Hautes Corbières » and of «Cœur du Pays Corbières-Minervois»...

Pont de Ribaute

Pont de Ribaute

Gorges de Ribaute, a gorgeous swimming spot of limpid blue-green water teaming with fish and dragonflies, below reefs of rock pummelled by centuries of water. For those not tempted to bathe, watching the wildlife is equally enjoyable. The river Orbieu tumbles from the geological chaos of the central Corbieres, gradually warming up as it runs over sun-baked rocks, until it winds through the vine-covered hills of Lagrasse and Ribaute....

Le Gourg de Talairan - Talairan

Talairan, fortified village. You can walk through the vineyards at the edge of the cliffs and the dried up river Nielle. You can also admire the clear waters of Gourg Goutonnier... Leave the village on the D323. You’ll walk past a basin (known as the “lavoir à pétales”, the petal washtub), extremely pleasant during the warm summer months. Take the chemin de la Croisette which will take you to the Notre-Dame-de-l’Ere chapel. Follow for about 600 m, before climbing the Buffanel on a small path to the left through the garrigue on the edge of the superb Gorges of the Nielle stream, twisting and turning 100 m below. Walk up along the gorges on a small ridge path, and continue alongside a fenced vineyard...

Abbaye
de Fontfroide

Abbaye de Fontfroide - Narbonne

Immerse yourself for a day in the silent universe of the Cistercian Monks, who had only the cicadas’ song to distract them from contemplation. Standing in front of its high walls, it’s hard to imagine just how vast the Abbey is. Once you have passed the gate, the splendour of the ochre sandstone building will be revealed. It is one of the most beautiful Cistercian abbeys of France, founded in 1093 and saved from ruin in 1908 by art patrons Gustave and Madeleine Fayet. While discovering the dormitory and refectory, you will plunge into history and learn about the particularities of the Cistercian Order. You will find out, for instance, that the professed monks never met the conversi, or lay brothers, who were manual workers....

Sentier Notre Dame de Carla 2 - Lagrasse

Officially ’one of the most beautiful villages in France’, Lagrasse is a small town nestled at the confluence of two valleys, and linked to the Benedictine abbey to which it owed its original prosperity by two graceful bridges spanning the river Orbieu. It is said that a peasant plowing his field there, found a statue of the Virgin. Depositing the village and returning to work his plot, he miraculously found the same figure. A chapel was built to sanctify this miracle and attested in the twelfth century. The devotion to Notre Dame de Carla remains from the Val de Dagne pilgrims who make the climb up the hill twice a year (the first Sunday of May and early September). Facing the chapel, the sheep was restored in 2006 at the initiative of an association "Amis de Notre Dame de Carla" and the support of local authorities. A Calvary erected on top of the hill, overlooking the gorge Alsou between the hills and the shell until Lauza Lacamp tray. The cross Wrought iron is present in the work of an ironworker from Rieux en Val in 1953...
