Ô Mazette, it's good to live !

Ô Mazette, is an atypical establishment specially designed to take full advantage of the moment. Its different spaces are carefully arranged and decorated in the will to optimize each of the proposed services. Its large bucolic garden with kitchen garden and swimming pool will give you the sensation of suspending your time ... in the heart of Fabrezan, in the Corbières...

Ô Mazette, dan een loungebar.

The meal finished, you will let yourself be carried by the lounge atmosphere to the sounds of soul / world music / electro proposed by a mix dj. A spirits and cocktails menu will enhance your evening.
Ô Mazette, first a restaurant!

In the retro-style bistro / tapas area, as soon as an aperitif, you will discover creative cuisine in the form of tapas. In portions, to share, you will savor them accompanied by a good wine selected among more than 40 references. Side restaurant, benches and old chairs near the old manger, allow you to enjoy, in a cozy setting, varied and original dishes. In fine weather, the two spaces are declined on the terraces and garden.

Ô Mazette, to finish in bed and breakfast.

3 guest rooms are proposed in a house adjoining our establishment. The decoration is minimal while retaining the character of the old, inspiring the rest and memory of the summer holidays of our childhood. You can also enjoy the garden and the pool during the day.
Ô Mazette, a place that changes over the hours...

We wanted to keep the charm of this house "out of time" by magnifying the sensation it arouses. Its long corridor and stone staircase lead to 3 bedrooms. Proust's madeleine, tomettes, cement tiles, a marble fireplace awaken memories of summer holidays at our ancestors. The exterior corroborates this sensation with the large garden, vegetable garden, bowling alley and swimming pool.

Each of the rooms has its own atmosphere. The furniture is found in the region and the decoration inspired by the creators. All have their own bathroom and toilet. The beds for 2 people are 160cmX200cm. Provision of towels, sheets, hair dryer, garden access and pool are included in the delivery. A private entrance is provided for guest rooms.

Breakfasts are served from 08:00 to 10:00

A.O.C. Corbières

The Corbières is one of the wildest areas of France with one of the lowest population densities. It is picturesque with wine growing areas alternating with garigue and mountainous countryside. It is located mainly in the Aude département and partly in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. The River Aude borders the Corbières to the west and north. To the south is the River Agly and to the east the the Mediterranean Sea. The name Corbières comes from "cor" a pre-Celtic word meaning "rock" and "berre" from the River Berre which runs through Durban. The eastern part of the Corbières with its Etangs, borders the the Mediterranean Sea and is called the Corbières maritimes. It has its own distinctive climate and characteristic vegetation known as thermomediterranean vegetation...

Le Sentier des Vignerons
des Corbières
Le Sentier des Vignerons des Corbières - Férrals-les-Corbières
Heading towards the centre of the village, cross the bridge over the Orbieu and, in front of the belfry climb a few steps to the left in the Impasse de l’Horloge to join the centre of the village a little further on. Turn left in the rue des Nobles, take the avenue des Vignerons then the rue de la Pinède (nice wrought iron wayside cross). Both mountain bikers and hikers share this part of the trail. After the housing development, you’ll get a nice view on the vineyards stretching out on the hillside as well as the Ferrals hills just behind them. You’ll walk uphill on this country road, a dry-stone wall to the right, and terraced plots with pine, almond, olive and cypress trees to boot. When the road forks, continue on the path uphill both itineraries share. To your right you’ll see the basin of La Prade, with vineyards liable to flooding, with its garrigue isle planted right in the middle and with its vestiges of former sheep barns. To your left, the garrigue has taken over the terraced plots of formerly cultivated land, lined with low walls and planted with pine trees...

Rivière de St Laurent de la Cabrerisse

Rivière de St Laurent de la Cabrerisse

Amidst a magnificent landscape of vineyards, pine forests, olive trees and garrigue (Mediterranean scrubland), our village stretches along the river Nielle. Ideally located between Carcassonne and its famous fortified cité and Narbonne with both a remarkable cathedral and relaxing beaches to offer, our village deserves its double “label” of “Gate of the Hautes Corbieres” as well as “ Heart of the Corbieres-Minervois country”. You are only a few minutes away from Lagrasse, which abbey and middle-age cobbled streets have earned it a place on the list of France’s most beautiful villages. And there is plenty more to see : the abbeys of Fontfroide and Caunes Minervois are well worth a visit, not to forget the Cathar history of the region with the castles of Termes, Villerouge Termenes, Aquilair, Minerves and many more “vertigo citadels” all within a short drive of the village. The Canal du Midi and the Cité of Carcassonne are both inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage List. They offer beautiful opportunities for a half-day or daytrip in the sun....

Mayronne(s) is a hamlet in the Corbieres hills, near Lagrasse. It hosts a stunning free sculpture trail 5km (two hours 30 minutes) long. There are permanent sculptures and an annual exhibition April – September. Sculptures are amusing, puzzling and breathtaking. The walk would be stunning even without the sculptures and it is a magical experience. Very few people know it’s there....

Campsite La Pinède

Campsite La Pinède - Lézignan-Corbières

Situated in Languedoc-Rousillon, only 500 meters from the centre of Lézignan Corbières, Aude, this 3½ hectares family camping site, at the edge of a fragrant pine forest, invites you to enjoy a well deserved rest in the shade of pine and almond trees. Here you will discover the terroir or wine producing vineyards of the Corbières and the Minervois appellation. You can relax on the terrace of the camp snack bar and enjoy a traditional dish cooked to a traditional Pays Cathare recipe. The campsite is ideally located, halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne Plage, in the Department of Aude. Tranquil and unspoiled, under the dependable sun of southern France, we offer mobile-homes to rent and have dedicated bays to receive caravans, camping-vans and tents. Within a short drive of the campsite, you can visit the historic sites of the Cathare region with its castles and abbeys.
