9 Holes, Par 68 - 4,400 metres.

Created on the way of Saint James of Compostela, Estolosa’s course is a par 68 which is 4400 meters long.
The course is rather short, which explains that the slope is 124. A quite technical course but approachable to beginners, golf players will be able to enjoy its hilly pattern and the characteristic of each hole.
Golf Le Domaine Estolosa - Drémil Lafage
In the middle of the hole N°8, there is an historical obstacle : a big oak tree many times centenarian. At its foot was found a cross of Saint James during the building of the course. The oak tree, symbol of strength and longevity, was considered by the pilgrims as a link between earth and sky. It’s told that this tree was the gathering place between the ones who were beginning their pilgrimage and the ones who were already on the way to Santiago de Compostela...
  Specialities

“ES TOLOSA” means “that’s Toulouse” in provincial French, but it is also the shrinkage word for “EST TOLOSA”, for the EAST of Toulouse. Funded in 1988 and taken over in 2003 by its current owner, the golf is a real piece of heaven, in the depths of 45 hectares of greenery and classified oak trees. At 10 minutes from Toulouse by car, and at the doors of Lauragais, come and discover the quietness required to enjoy playing golf in a mind of relaxation or improvement. The golf Estolosa greets you all year long and everyday from 8.30 AM to 19 PM for the last departure

The 19th hole…
Essential part of each successful golf game: the club house ! With its design from the Lauragais facing the PyreneesMountains, the club house is the convivial place where you can refresh while recalling your course. During the summer, the terrace outside, in front of the golf will allow you to enjoy that moment. During the winter, comfortable seats welcome you near the chimney fire, on top of what is a copy of wood of Saint James cross. The original, discovered on the course during its building, was made of stone and given to the diocese in 1994.

Vin de Pays d’Oc,
Vin de Pays de l’Aude

Vin de Pays d’Oc, Vin de Pays de l’Aude

Vin de Pays means 'country wine' to the French, but to outsiders it can mean New World with a French accent. These are the wines which the French authorities unreservedly allow to be labelled with the grape variety from which they were made. It is difficult to over-estimate the importance of this large and growing category of wines for the future of the French wine trade. The French themselves may have tended to see any Vin de Pays as distinctly inferior to any appellation contrôlée wine, whereas many of their customers abroad see the better Vins de Pays as good-value, user-friendly, sometimes high-quality non-conformist emissaries from the world's most revered wine producer....

The Grapes

The Grapes

There are thousands of grape varieties contributing to a vast array of different wine styles with each variety having its own distinct flavours and characteristics. Varieties can be made uniquely to make a wine, in whch case the wine is known as a varietal, or collectively with other varities, when the wine is known as a blend. The soils and ‘terroirs’ in the Aude area are very varied, from Schist, Sandstone, Marl, Gravel, Pebbles, Limestone, to Granit and Alluvial soil; thus making many marvelous and different styles of wine. Also in this massive area are many different grape varieties, the reds include Carignon, Cinsault, Granache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The whites, Chardonnay, Granache blanc, Picpoul, Marsanne, Roussanne, Vermantino, Mauzac, Chenin and Clairette...

Whether it is in the dining room in rotunda, in the flowery inner courtyard or around the swimming pool, reigns an unrivalled atmosphere, made by peace, by discreet luxury and by well-being, which agrees completely with Stéphane Tournié's cooking. His sophisticated cooking, full of character, flavourful and creative as one pleases shows itself of the most authentic. It emphasizes beautiful products in the respect for their flavours which it sublimates mostly. It is a great cooking from Southwest, respectful of the traditions without being a slave....

Michel Sarran

Michel Sarran - Toulouse

"Here like nowhere else..." Here, it is a house more than a restaurant, where the art of life is practiced with sweetness, discretion and charm. We welcome you with respect, friendliness, warmth and soon like our friends. The word "customer" doesn't make sense. Here everything goes by two: the dining room, the cooking, Françoise & Michel Sarran. First the dining room, I mean rooms. They are each double: The one downstairs, with modern architecture and furniture, with wood and tiling that sweeten straight lines and curves and rush into an indoor garden in springtime. Then there are the ones upstairs. There, no doubt, the notion of restaurant fades away to leave the space to a familial house. Instantly the environment is more intimate and hushed...
