With its 9 holes (par 36 -  2517meter - 1985

The golf course was embedded in the still natural mountainous landscape.
Golf de Font-Romeu
The 9-hole course offers several variations and a wonderful view on the surroundings. The Golf de Font-Romeu was the first mountain golf course in France. Level course, it offers technical holes and some of the most beautiful panoramas of the Catalan Pyrenees.
Golf de Font-Romeu
Especially the water hazards offer a few difficulties, but whit their clear water they do indeed offer a little refreshment, too..
Font Romeu is a Ski-Area in the Pyrenees-Orientales department and the Languedoc Roussillon region. Situated on the vast plateau of the Cerdagne, Font-Romeu is One of Europe’s oldest winter resorts and has been welcoming skiers since 1921. Font-Romeu is surrounded by towering peaks that rise to 2900 meters. The resort claims over 3000 hours of sunshine per year, making it the sunniest in France. It is part of the Neiges Catalanes ski domain. The resort has 500 snow canons, 54km of downhill ski runs and 111 km of cross-country trails. The lift served area extends from 1800 metres to 2200 metres and there is a snowpark. It is also a real Pyrenean village with restaurants, bars, shops, a casino, cinema, ice-rink, swimming pool and sports centre.
Golf de Font-Romeu
Snow golf is a sport based on golf but played over snow instead of grass. This golf competition, at an altitude of 1800 metres, in temperatures well below 0°, is very much ’something completely different’. Played on a multi-leveled course covered in snow, hopefully under blue skies, this is a game for any golfer looking for a new challenge...

Prades - Perched at an altitude of 950 metres, in the heart of the Prades massif, the former capital of the county of Prades owes its nickname of vil-la vermella to the many reddish stone buildings it houses. With just under 700 inhabitants, you will enjoy visiting its old centre and especially the church dedicated to the Virgin Mary enthroned in the Plaça Major. Above all, Prades is an excellent starting point for a family outing to the surrounding hills and valleys. Here we recommend a stop at the tourist office to enquire about the various cycling and hiking routes to be followed...

Le Train Jaune

Le Train Jaune - Villefranche-de-Conflent

Symbol and pride of the Catalan Pyrenees, Le Train Jaune offers an exceptional view of the Tet Valley and the plateau of Cerdagne. The Train Jaune, also called the canary because of its color, connects Villefranche-de-Conflent (427 meters) with Latour-de-Carol (1232 meters) on a 63 km track and climbs with 1200 meters of difference in altitude to the highest station of France 'Bolquère' at 1593 meters. It takes approx. 3 hours from one end of the line to the other, during which you have plenty of time to photograph the landscape of the Têt Valley and the Cerdan Plateau. 60 km of architectural masterpieces in the Catalan Pyrenees ... The Train Jaune railway, built at the turn of the century, was intended to link the Catalan highlands with the rest of the department. The first works in 1903 made it possible from 1910 to link Villefranche-de-Conflent with Mont-Louis...
