We also feel responsible for the management of a domain where every vine reveals plowing many vestiges of past millennia ... and strong imprint of the abbey of Lagrasse...

Exhibition of Amphorae and Roman tiles, flint arrowheads, polished axes, coins ... as well as paintings, sculptures and photographs by local artists.

But our greatest passion is working every day in the vineyard and in the cellar.

  Specialties

We create wines in the style of a craftsman. We want to strongly marked by this soil, vinified without artifice, at length raised in our cellar. We practice traditional agriculture respectful of the environment (viticulture), assure ourselves the transformation of our products and ensure the development of healthy, natural foods in compliance with authentic flavors.

The vineyard is located in the middle of Corbières, between 151 and 248 m above sea level on 4 villages (Montlaur, Servies en Val, and Val Rieux in Lagrasse). Presence of two rivers: the Sou and Alsou and a bottom clay and limestone gélif valley. Part of the vineyard is located in height AOC to limit the risk of frost. Most of the plot is 1 km radius of the place of business in dry disadvantaged area. The land structure is composed of 61 hectares including 24 hectares of vineyards and 7 hectares of land, the rest is in moors...

Corbières

A.O.P. Corbières

The Corbières is one of the wildest areas of France with one of the lowest population densities. It is picturesque with wine growing areas alternating with garigue and mountainous countryside. It is located mainly in the Aude département and partly in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. The River Aude borders the Corbières to the west and north. To the south is the River Agly and to the east the the Mediterranean Sea. The name Corbières comes from "cor" a pre-Celtic word meaning "rock" and "berre" from the River Berre which runs through Durban. The eastern part of the Corbières with its Etangs, borders the the Mediterranean Sea and is called the Corbières maritimes. It has its own distinctive climate and characteristic vegetation known as thermomediterranean vegetation...

Vin de Pays d’Oc,
Vin de Pays de l’Aude

Vin de Pays d’Oc, Vin de Pays de l’Aude

Vin de Pays means 'country wine' to the French, but to outsiders it can mean New World with a French accent. These are the wines which the French authorities unreservedly allow to be labelled with the grape variety from which they were made. It is difficult to over-estimate the importance of this large and growing category of wines for the future of the French wine trade. The French themselves may have tended to see any Vin de Pays as distinctly inferior to any appellation contrôlée wine, whereas many of their customers abroad see the better Vins de Pays as good-value, user-friendly, sometimes high-quality non-conformist emissaries from the world's most revered wine producer....
